JTB Consulting was started by Thommie Burger in 2007. He holds an undergraduate degree with major subjects that include HR Management and Personnel Psychology as well as a post-graduate degree in International Business Management and Global HR Management. Thommie draws on years of corporate experience gained within South Africa, Africa, and the United Kingdom. He has extensive experience working for large multi-national organisations in the disciplines of Human Resources, General Management, and Business Development.
He has a vast knowledge of operational and strategic management, recruitment practices as well as sales and business development. Some of the most notable clients he has worked with includes the Financial Times, Sasol, Anglo American, Volkswagen, DaimlerChrysler, and Eskom.
Thommie has published various articles on career development and job search strategies in the South African press. He also presents career life skills and interview preparation training courses to the youth and young adults of South Africa
He has a vast knowledge of South African and European recruitment and business practices, and has successfully assisted clients in both South Africa and the United Kingdom in compiling a professional CV.
